We invite you to help shape what comes next.
The Indy Health District Quality of Life (QOL) Planning page is where you can learn about the planning process and find ways to share your ideas for the future of our neighborhoods. Here you’ll find surveys, upcoming events, community updates, and ways to get involved.
The Quality of Life Plan focuses on five Indy Health District neighborhoods:
- Crown Hill
- Historic Flanner House Homes
- Highland Vicinity
- Meridian Highland
- Ransom Place
This planning process creates a unique opportunity for neighbors across Crown Hill, Historic Flanner House Homes, Highland Vicinity, Meridian Highland, and Ransom Place to come together, share ideas, and shape a stronger future for the Indy Health District. What is a Quality of Life Plan?
A Quality of Life Plan is a shared vision for the future of our neighborhoods.
It grows out of what community members say matters most and helps guide the work, partnerships, and investments that shape our community in the years ahead.
At its heart, the plan ensures the future of the Indy Health District reflects the voices, experiences, and hopes of the people who care about and contribute to these neighborhoods.
Why a Quality of Life Plan?
- Bring neighbors, community groups, and partners together to talk about what matters most
- Lift up what’s already working in our neighborhoods and where we can make things better
- Support collaboration and shared efforts that benefit the community
- Help connect resources and opportunities to the priorities residents have identified
- Strengthen health, opportunity, and stability across our neighborhoods
- Create a shared path forward for the future of the Indy Health District
